Chris Clarry began his training in Yoseikan back in 1968 originally under the guidance of the late Vernon C F Bell the founder of the original British Karate Federation founded in 1956.
Originally Based at the Windmill Hall Dojo in Upminster Essex, from the age of just 8yrs old Chris spent the first 10 years of his training under Vernon Bell acquiring his Shodan and then in 1978 with the help of Mr Bell securing his scholarship to continue his study in Martial Arts in Japan.
He spent the next 30 years obtaining Black Belt Dan Grade qualifications in no less than 6 Martial Arts disciplines
whilst also having the honour to train under other great Masters such as Master Masafumi Suzuki of the Nippon seibukan and the Grand Master Chow Choo Soot of the Karate Budokan International.
On his final return to the U.K in 2001 having been awarded the position as the United Kingdom Chief Instructor and official successor to Vernon V C F Bell 10th Dan
so as to continue the Yoseikan U.K Linage in honour of the
Great Master Minoru Mochizuki of the Yoseikan Japan.
Since 2001 Chris has been working as a full time professional Martial Arts Instructor
actively teaching around the United Kingdom and Europe whilst also heading as Chief Instructor and Examiner for the Yoseikan Karate Association U.K.
Shihan Clarry also offers a number of additional tutoring options
some of which include,
Schools, Colleges, Universities, Corporate Organisations
Group or Individual Self defence training.
Chris Clarry holds the rank and title of Shihan 8th Dan and currently has
over 49 years Martial Arts experience behind him.
