Chris Clarry began his training in Yoseikan back in 1968 originally under the guidance of the late Vernon C F Bell the founder of the original British Karate Federation founded in 1956.
Originally Based at the Windmill Hall Dojo in Upminster Essex, from the age of just 8yrs old Chris spent the first 10 years of his training under Vernon Bell acquiring his Shodan and then in 1978 with the help of Mr Bell securing his scholarship to continue his study in Martial Arts in Japan.
Obtaining qualifications in no less than 6 Martial Arts disciplines and eventually on his return in 2001 being nominated by Vernon C.F. Bell as his official successor to the United Kingdom Yoseikan Linage.
Since 2001 Chris has been working as a full time professional Martial Arts Instructor,
heading the Yoseikan Karate Association U.K as Chief Instructor and Examiner.
Chris currently holds the rank of Shihan 8th Dan and currently has over 48 years Martial Arts experience.
