I joined the Yoseikan Karate Association at the age of 8 yrs old, which I attended once a week after school at Chetwood Primary. I achieved my first colour belt in April 2002 and started training twice a week. The feeling of achievement spurred me onto continue training with Yoseikan Karate. In April 2004, I successfully attained a double rank award, and in Nov 2007 attained my 1st Dan Black Belt at the age of 14 and proud to be called “sensei “. Belonging to Yoseikan has shown me discipline, respect, and fitness and I am now training preparing for my 3rd Dan.
